Arega Fentahun has over a decade of legal expertise across Ethiopia’s private and public sectors. He holds
an LLB from Bahir Dar University.
Before joining DABLO, Arega served as lawyer at the Ethiopian Trade Competition and Consumer
Protection Authority, the Ethiopian Custom Commission, and Noah Real Estate Plc where he
handled commercial, civil, labour, tax and customs disputes
(giant gas suppliers), in dispute related to anti-competitive trade practice.
In an appeal lodged by the importer on the customs valuation decision at the Federal Tax Appeal Commission, valued USD 7.5 thousand (ETB 1 million)
In a construction agreement valued at USD 15 thousand (ETB 2 million).
