Yordanos Assegdew is a law graduate from Addis Ababa University and is currently pursuing a Master’s
degree in Business Law. She has practical experience in capital markets, investment, corporate governance,
and management.
Her professional background includes serving as a Legal and Compliance Officer and Company Secretary
at an investment firm, where she focused on capital markets, legal compliance, board management, and
corporate governance. Yordanos also completed an apprenticeship with Ethiopian Investment Holdings,
where she gained exposure to Ethiopia’s Public-Private Partnership sector and Sovereign Wealth Funds.
In a dispute contract valued at over USD 374.5 thousand (ETB 50 million).
In legal research and written analysis on regulatory developments and emerging legal issues.
